Question: What's the point of training and putting yourself through all that pain if it's not something you're gonna stick with? What's the point of all the sweat, all the heavy breathing, and having that feeling where you can't get out of bed the next morning because you're so sore if it only happens once a month? What's the point of going through all that, and then hitting the drive thru at McDonald's? When I'm training, whether it's myself or one of my Threeestyle Warriors, there are threee key things I tell them, which I call the CIA principles...
Consistency: making it a lifestyle choice rather than a routine will get you going closer to your goals because you're not making it a chore.
Intensity: The harder you work, the more calories you burn, the more weight you lose. The harder you lift, the more you can lift, the stronger you get. It's that simple.
and Lastly, ACCOUNTABILITY. You have to be accountable to yourself to get where you want to go. No one cares if you reach your goals or not. The only person it matters to the most is you. It's your workout,so put into it what you want to get out of it. Ask yourself how important it is to you, and what sacrifices are you willing to make to get there. No matter what your goal is you won't achieve it overnight, but if you are accountable for your actions and decisions and don't stray too far from your goal, how can you not reach it?
I've gotten as far as I am today by being accountable for my actions and not making excuses. When I want something, I push as hard as I can and become relentless until that goal is achieved. You have to want it, and you have to be accountable to get it, because no ones gonna get it for you.
It's that simple...earn it!
Talk to ya,
