Viva Las Vegas

So I went down to Las Vegas a few weeks ago for the NSCA Personal Trainers conference and trade show, and I swear that trip changed my life! (that's a bold statement, I know) While I was there, I met a guy by the name of Lance Parvin, and when I heard his story, I though to myself, "This guy is the smartest person I've ever met!" I asked him what he did, and he told me straight up," I train exotic dancers." What a way to make a living eh? That's what I call doing what you love. I've talked about this for years (ask any of my high school buddies)...you have to love what you do if you want to be successful in life. Now take that anyway you want. Some people measure success monetarily, while others view quality of life as a success indicator. I'm the second one. I've been in the fitness industry for over two years so far, and I've never been happier, and the only way I did that was getting off my a$$ and making things happen for myself. Again, take this any way you'd like... whether it's asking for that well-deserved raise, buying that shiny new corvette, or getting your"washboard abs"(of course I have to relate it to working out), my point it you have to start somewhere, which involves getting off the computer and doing it. I was once told, "Discipline is a decision"... so decide already, because that decision will determine your success.
